Bonhams is the fastest growing auction house in the world. It is also the oldest and the largest auctioneer of antiques and fine arts. It’s head office is located in the United Kingdom. Bonhams is one of the surviving auction houses in Georgian London and was founded in the year 1793. Thomas Dodd and Walter Bonham are the founders of this auction house. This auction house conducts more than 700 sales per year, which is more than any of its rivals all around the world. The international fine art showroom of the company is situated at New Bond Street, London. Bonhams & Butterfields holds over 50 auctions every year in San Francisco and Los Angeles showrooms. The auctions usually feature a range from the 19th century pictures to fine jewelry.
Bonhams joined with Goodmans, Australia’s leading auctioneers and together they hold 50 sales of antiques and fine arts in a year in Sydney. It has representative offices in Brisbane and Perth. Bonham has a dedicated team of specialists, administrators and professionals committed to customer service and integrity.
